Are you ready to make a difference while having fun? Become a runner and raise funds for the Ron Foley Foundation during the Eversource Hartford Marathon! Join us on the course as a volunteer and help us meet our needs while enjoying a fantastic experience. We Care Card
The we care card
The Foundation is very grateful to continue to be the recipient organization of We Care Card sales. Shop owners and restaurants in West Hartford Center offer patrons a discount in return for purchasing a We Care Card. The discounts and card sales run for about 12 days starting the beginning of November.Join other volunteers for a fun Saturday or Sunday afternoon of selling We Care Cards. Volunteers set up small tables on LaSalle Road and Farmington Avenue and encourage passersby to purchase cards and provide information about pancreatic cancer and the Foundation, which can be informative for community members who may not know about us.

Each year on the third Thursday in November, we honor World Pancreatic Cancer Day. We gather in Veterans Memorial Park in West Hartford Center with our families, loved ones, friends, and neighbors to shine a light on pancreatic cancer. We unite to remember and honor those touched by it and to raise awareness for this terrible disease.Our volunteers are booked, but please join us!

Join Our Committee
No matter how you choose to contribute, you’ll be joining a remarkable volunteer group. In the fall, we meet once a month, both in person and virtually. As we gear up for Ron’s Run for the Roses in the spring, we gather every other week. Many of our volunteers have been with the Foundation for over five years, creating a close-knit community that feels like family. Be part of something special — your contributions will make a lasting impact!Office Help
