On August 21, 2025, the Ron Foley Foundation (RFF) was honored to be part of Angel of Edgewood’s Back-to-School Extravaganza at Dunkin Park in Hartford. This incredible community celebration brought together families from across Greater Hartford for a day filled with music, fun, and meaningful support as students prepared to head back to school.
The event featured a live performance by Big Freedia, along with family-friendly activities, games, and entertainment. Most importantly, the Extravaganza provided hundreds of families with free backpacks, school supplies, and valuable resources to ensure that every child could start the school year with confidence and success.
At the RFF table, our team handed out bags, goodies, and vital information about pancreatic cancer. We hope that by sharing these resources, we can raise awareness, encourage education, and continue building connections that support our mission to fight pancreatic cancer.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Angel of Edgewood for organizing such an inspiring event and for including the Ron Foley Foundation in this celebration of community, education, and hope.
